Made.com ‘considers flotation’
Made.com, the online furniture retailer backed by Lastminute.com co-founder Brent Hoberman, is the latest etailer to explore a stockmarket flotation.
Buoyed by investors' demand for retail shares, such as the £1.2bn flotation of ao.com, Made.com is understood to have held talks with City advisers in recent weeks, according to The Sunday Times.
The newspaper says the four-year old etailer is looking to raise funds to accelerate up its European expansion – it already operates in the UK, France and Italy.
No decision has reportedly ben made and Made.com could opt to raise money from venture capital investors instead.
