Dreams looks for online boost
Beds chain Dreams is investing in its website with the aim of doubling its conversion rate.
The retailer has hired consultants Practicology to review its website and reduce barriers to shoppers placing orders.
It has also employed Monetate to help redesign the website for smart phones and tablets: more than half of visitors use mobile devices. Monetate has already instigated a menu which appears when shoppers first come online which has reduced bounce among mobile users by 10%.
‘Dreams has great people across its stores, web team and delivery arm; and we already have the processes and systems infrastructure ready to support further growth. Now is the time to accelerate our online and multichannel activities, and optimise performance significantly,’ says Richard Voyce, Dreams head of ecommerce.
