Further growth for Topps Tiles
Tiles and flooring chain Topps Tiles has continued to lift sales.
The 346 store chain saw like for like sales grow by 6.3% in the quarter to 27 June, almost matching the 6.3% achieved last year.
‘Trading in the third quarter has been encouraging, with like for like sales growth at 5.9%, building on the positive trend we reported for the first half. With our plans to extend the appeal of the Topps brand well underway, we remain well-positioned to continue to grow our market share in the remainder of the year,’ says Matthew Williams, Topps Tiles ceo.
During the period two main and six Boutique format stores were opened. It hopes to open a further two branches this quarter.
