Bed manufacturer Shire invests £100,000
Bed manufacturer The Shire Bed Company has invested more than £100,000 improving its manufacturing.
The company has installed a new automatic border, handle and label machine capable of sewing unique border designs, automatically stiches fabric handles and attaches labels.
The purchase comes three months after it invested nearly £750,000 expanding its Dewsbury factory from 30,000sqft to 47,000sqft.
‘We are passionate about product quality and work very hard to bring our very latest collections to our customers. This investment enables us to continue to offer a more comprehensive range of products,’ says Fara Butt, The Shire Bed Company marketing director.
