Village life for Wool Week
Oxfordshire designer shopping outlet Bicester Village is helping to celebrate Wool Week, in association with the Campaign for Wool and the British Fashion Council, with a quintessentially British collection of wool products including Brintons' carpets and Manolo Blahnik wool covered shoes.
Its British Wool Collective showcases a variety of products using British wool and visitors will experience various Brintons carpet collections on show throughout the village.
‘As one of the largest consumers of British Wool, we have long been champions of the Campaign of Wool and were delighted to have been asked by Bicester to showcase some of our favourite designs as part of their British Wool Collective. Spanning across our commercial and residential collections, the Quickweave and Timorous Beasties collections demonstrate how versatile this natural material is,’ says Andrew Wilcock, Brintons group marketing manager.
‘We are so delighted that Bicester Village is getting behind His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales’s Campaign for Wool. The ecological of Bicester Village are well known, and it feels absolutely appropriate that they are backing the movement of wool, with all its messages of sustainability and fashionability,’ says Nicholas Coleridge, Campaign for Wool chairman.
