Matza investment boosts production
Bed manufacturer Matza has invested £400,000 in new equipment leading to increased efficiency and the creation of 10 jobs at its 60,000sqft West Yorkshire factory.
The family-run manufacturer has boosted production with a new state of the art router and top of the range foam cutter.
‘The new machinery, recently installed in our Dewsbury factory, will give us 10 times more efficiency. The foam cutter is far faster than our previous machine and does a better quality job. The router gives a nice, clean finished product which we can then upholster,’ says Asif Ayub, Matza md (pictured).
The machinery comes with 12 tools and 25 cutters and makes all the changes automatically.
‘It is more modern and so much safer to operate as well as allowing us to double production. In addition, we’ve been able to create some 10 jobs, investing in people as well as machinery going into the future.’
