Brockway looks to grow workforce
Carpet manufacturer Brockway is looking to boost its workforce by 10%, with more growth planned over the coming year.
The company wants to expand staff numbers at its recently acquired Grosvenor Wilton subsidiary before adding to its core workforce.
‘We’re looking to recruit across a wide range of skills and experience from experienced weavers to junior apprentices. We have immediate requirements for specialist skills, such as experienced winders and weaving engineers. And we’re particularly keen to encourage youngsters into the industry who are looking for entry level career opportunities to learn how to weave. Those who join us have the chance to develop their skills, and share our pride in the creation of the finest carpets for some highly prestigious projects,’ said Charles Annable, Brockway chairman.
‘The growth of Brockway over the last two years together with our acquisition of Grosvenor Wilton means we’re able to accelerate growth plans by expanding our 100-strong workforce.’
