RB12 to be the first Shoreditch Village opening
Interiors retailer RB12 will be the first business to take up residence in the new Shoreditch Village development in east London when it opens to the public on Monday.
The two floor store showcases a variety of design pieces for every area of the home - including bathroom and bedroom furniture, living room accessories, kitchen items from appliances to tiles, and pieces for outdoor spaces. Many will be exclusively stocked at RB12, or new to the UK.
These include Italian kitchen and furniture company Minacciolo, mosaic tile manufacturer BottegaNove, rug producer Armadillo & Co, Czech lighting brand Brokis, floor and wall tile company Ornamenta and Rina Menardi ceramics. London-based social enterprise Chrom-Art will display a selection of art pieces in the showroom that are available to buy.
RB12 has been set up by Dean Louw and Rafael Borrego, who worked together on a number of successful high-end property development and interior design projects since 2012. The third partner is Giulia Minacciolo, an export manager for Minacciolo who collaborated on a number of kitchen projects in London with Louw and Borrego.
RB12 is located adjacent to the CitizenM Shoreditch Hotel. Shoreditch Village is a 150,000sqft development with a mix of public, retail, café, restaurant, residential and commercial space.
