Treske invests in production

Furniture and kitchen manufacturer and retailer Treske has invested in its production amid increasing demand.

The Manufacturing Guild Mark holder has invested £200,000 in a five-axis CNC router while expanding the products on show at its Thirsk, North Yorkshire showroom.

The investment was helped by £40,000 from the York, North Yorkshire and East Riding Local Enterprise Partnership through its Let’s Grow Fund.

‘This is one of the biggest investments the company has made since it was formed. It reflects the growing demand for our products from across the United Kingdom and our confidence in the future, which is fuelled by the improving economic climate and the skills and commitment of our staff,’ said Justin Bartlett, Treske owner.

‘The LEP support is very timely as we look to increase the number of customers who buy their quality furniture and kitchens from Treske.

‘We have also increased our showrooms in our historic Victorian Maltings building, making it a great place to visit for people considering buying furniture and kitchens. It is now time for us to move up through the gears and make Treske the epitome of a 21st century company, while maintaining our traditional values of service and craftsmanship.’
