Wallner succeeds Cappellini at Cappellini
Giulio Cappellini has stepped down as ceo of the eponymous furniture manufacturer.
He will remain the brand’s art director.
The company became part of Poltrona Frau Group in 2004, then renamed Lifestyle Design Group, before it was bought by Haworth a decade later.
Cappellini has been succeeded by Kurt Wallner (pictured), who for the past 10 years had been
Wallner joined the Poltrona Frau Group (as was) in 2009, as md of Poltrona Frau and of Cassina’s contract divisions.
The company said the move was part of its plans to accelerate its international expansion.
