Lebus looks to apprentices to swell workforce
Upholstery manufacturer Lebus is looking to recruit 15 apprentices, offering a guaranteed job offer available after training.
The Scunthorpe company is seeking 16-20 year olds to start training for intermediate apprenticeship level two in modern upholstery in September.
‘We want to develop local talent to help create our sofas that are in homes across the country. No previous experience is necessary for these positions, so with attractive pay rates, fully supported training, 32 days holiday and a meal allowance for apprentices, Lebus Upholstery is the place to start your career,’ says John Brewster, Lebus operations director.
‘Our economic growth team are keen to support local businesses looking to upskill their workforce or grow their operations. We’ve been working with Lebus to help them plug their skills gap and find the next generation of furniture-makers in North Lincolnshire,’ says Cllr Richard Hannigan, North Lincolnshire Council deputy leader.
