ScS sees orders pick up
Upholstery and flooring chain ScS has seen orders pick up in recent weeks.
The chain said like for like orders for the year to 27 July was up 4.2%. This compares to an increase of 2.9% in the 33 weeks to 16 March.
‘The full year performance reflects the strong growth the group has achieved in the last 19 weeks. This growth has been partly assisted by weaker comparatives in the prior year, as a result of the hot weather and football World Cup,’ it says.
It says it expects profits to in line with expectations.
