Bed Industry Awards finalists revealed

BedIndustryAwards19The finalists for the 2019 Bed Industry Awards have been revealed.

In the retail categories Button & Sprung; Linthorpe Beds; Sound Sleep and The Winchester Bed Company have been selected for Independent Bed Retailer of the Year.

In the National Bed Retailer of the Year category the finalists are Bensons for Beds and Dreams.

The Online Bed Retailer of the Year award is between Argos and Mattress Online.

The product awards will be judged at the Bed Show. 

The finalists for Bed of the Year are: Airsprung - Cahoots mattress with Trend divan and headboard; Carpenter - Click mattress; Hypnos - Wool Origins 10; Shire Beds - Constable 3000 Pillow Top; Sleepeezee – Mayfair and ViSpring - J Marshall number 4.

The finalists for Accessory/Component of the Year are: BekaertDeslee - XCITE ticking; 

Carpenter - Luxury Cool Pillow; Enkev - Taillok XXE; Harrison Spinks – Cortec and Vogue - Maxi base.

In Innovation of the Year, the finalists are: BekaertDeslee – Seaqual; Deluxe Beds - Horizontally Layered Mattress and Vitafoam – FReefoam.

‘We are delighted to announce the finalists in our annual awards,’ says Lisa Artis, NBF PR and communications manager for the NBF, and awards co-ordinator. ‘There have been even more entries this year and the standard has been exceptionally high – with some very strong, stand out entries – a great reflection on our industry. 

‘It’s always very difficult shortlisting and picking winners and it’s a decision that is not taken lightly. The judging team has spent considerable time reading through all the entries and supporting documents. To be a finalist is a tremendous achievement.’

The winners will be announced at the Bed Show 2019 Gala Dinner on 17 September at Telford International Centre.
