Loaf hires new finance boss as it anticipates profits boost
Furniture retailer Loaf has named a former Debenhams executive as its finance boss.
Anne Blixen-Finecke has become the chain’s chief financial officer after three years at the department store group as commercial financial director. Before that she had senior finance roles at Marks and Spencer and Tesco.
Blixen-Finecke will lead the business on all aspects of finance, IT and compliance and help shape its strategy as it looks to double sales and profits over the next five years.
The £48m group says it expects a double-digit increase in profits for the year ended March.
‘We’re very excited to have Anne join us at Loaf. She’s a terrific talent with a superb track record and a wealth of experience. Anne was a crucial hire as we look to take Loaf to the next level, and I have no doubt she’ll achieve great things here,’ says Charlie Marshall, Loaf ceo and founder.
