Tapi continuing with home visits

Tapi17Flooring chain Tapi is continuing with its home customer visits and keeping its stores open.

‘We’ve increased the frequency of our intensive store cleaning with alcohol-based products. We have hand sanitizer and a sink for regularly washing hands on the shop floor and reminders to colleagues how to maintain the highest hygiene standards. We’re being extra cautious in terms of any colleague signs of illness, isolating where necessary and going over and above the advice from government and the WHO. We’ve also put clear restrictions on business travel. Finally, we’re in constant contact with all relevant authorities to make sure that we continue to do everything we can to ensure the health of our customers and teams,’ it says.

‘Our fitters will do a self-assessment health check every morning to make sure they are feeling fit and well before your fitting appointment, they’ll drop you a line to confirm their estimated time of arrival. When they arrive, they will have sanitized their hands but may ask if they can wash their hands throughout the fitting. We’ve asked our recommended fitters to keep to the World Health Organisation and Public Health England Guidelines, by keeping at least a 2-metre distance from you and your family! We’re not being impolite, just another step to help keep us all safe. We would also appreciate it if you’re able to stay out of the room while the fitter is at work as they will be moving all over the room and will need to move about freely. If you’re self-isolating or feel you have symptoms, please do let us know by calling your store, and we’ll give you the time you need to fully recover before making another appointment for your fitting date. In this instance, where we need to delay fitting due to health reasons, we’re happy to store your floor without any cost to you, even if you have reached your eight-week maximum storage period.’

It is continuing with its home estimate visits. ‘Tapi and our home visit consultants are committed to providing a fantastic service and a floor you’ll adore. To keep everyone safe and sound we’re introducing a few more procedures, that we hope you’ll understand. Our consultants will do a self-assessment health check every morning to make sure they are feeling fit and well before your appointment. When they arrive, they will have sanitized their hands but may ask if they can wash their hands during the visit. We’ve asked our consultants to keep to the World Health Organisation and Public Health England Guidelines, by keeping at least a 2-metre distance from you and your family! We’re not being impolite, just another step to help keep us all safe. We would also appreciate it if you’re able to stay out of the room while the consultant is measuring as they will be moving all over the room and will need to move about freely.’
