Design London cancelled for 2020
Design London, the re-invented 100% Design exhibition, has been cancelled for 2020.
The show had been due to make its debut on 16-19 September in Greenwich, London.
The organiser, Media 10, believes that postponing Design London to next year will enable it to ‘deliver a launch show that does not compromise what was originally set out for it to achieve.’
‘After careful consideration and with great regret, Design London has announced the postponement of the show’s launch to 22-25 September 2021,’ it says.
‘Design London is delighted to confirm that the show will be held at Magazine London as originally planned, alongside London’s first purpose-built Design District in north Greenwich. The show has commissioned a number of exciting installations and will be collaborating with celebrated designers – delivering a must-see event during London Design Festival 2021.
‘Above all else, the show’s organisers want to make sure that they are doing the best thing for the industry, for Design London and the public, doing so safely and with everyone’s best interests at the core of their approach.
‘Design London looks forward to uniting the international design community at the launch of the show at Magazine London next year.’
