Norfolk bed retailer opens second store
Norfolk bed retailer Beds of Paradise has expanded into upholstery and cabinet furniture with a second store.
The independent has opened a second store – Living in Paradise – on the town's High Street close to its Paradise Road bed store.
'You can go anywhere to see row upon row of sofas and beds. We like to make our customers' shopping experience a little bit different and by displaying our products the way we do, it helps people visualise how something may look in their own home,' says co-owner Jamie McGuffog. 'The gifts and accessories also mean our customers can pop in on a regular basis, because we're very aware that people only tend to change their sofa or bed every seven to ten years.'
The store will specialise in sofas, sofa beds, recliners and occasional furniture, with a selection of dining room cabinet.
It will also have more than 100 chandeliers on display. 'There are not many shops which offer such a vast range of affordable antique chandeliers. We sell them all over the world and have more than 120 on display at any given time,' says Terry Hills.
The expansion has created two jobs.
