JFS to get product focused update alongside expanded Flooring Showcase
Next year’s January Furniture Show is to receive a shake-up designed to make it easier for visitors to see the products they want, alongside an expanded Flooring Showcase.
Navigation around the show will be easier with more focused product types in each hall for the 21-24 January exhibition.
Halls 1 and 2 will be named Premium Design, and will feature high-end and contemporary UK and International brands, including in Hall 1, Duresta, Parker Knoll, Baker, Whitemeadow and Bentley Designs. In Hall 2 Ekornes, Italia Living, ROM and Skovby all return after a successful show in 2017.
Hall 2 will also be home to an extended Flooring Showcase and will be joined the Fabric Pavilion, which moves from Hall 1. Abingdon Carpets, Associated Weavers, Forbo, Furlong Flooring, Gooch Oriental, Rama Carpets and Think Rugs are among the companies returning to the Flooring Showcase.
Hall 3 will become the Decorative Accessories hall, as the focal point for lighting, mirrors, art, soft furnishings and ornamental items. Exhibitors will include Gallery Direct, India Jane, Libra and Pacific Lifestyle.
Hall 4 will host large cabinet companies as the Living & Dining hall. As well a living and dining, buyers will find bedroom furniture. Confirmed exhibitors include Heartlands, Kettle Interiors, Nolte, Rauch, Value Mark, VIDA Living and Weimann.
Hall 5 will be named Living & Beds and focus on upholstery and beds. Breasley, Buoyant, Furmanac, Furnico, La-Z-Boy UK, Lebus, MLily, Sherborne Upholstery and Vogue Beds are among the exhibitors.
A revamped website features a new product search facility, the ability for visitors to make their own favourites list and see where those exhibitors are located in the show. There will also a new format for detailed exhibitor information and the opportunity for visitors to request product information in advance, along with information about new products and show highlights.
