A fantastic Area Sales Manager position for the south of England has become available with Premier Housewares, a leading importer of interior accessories, furniture and housewares in the UK, supplying to buying groups and independent retailers. Premier Housewares is a well-respected brand in the interiors and housewares industry, having built an impressive reputation for the highest of quality products.
This strategic role will involve selling our range of own label and branded interiors accessories, furniture, lighting, own design kitchen accessories into department stores, interior designers, furniture retailers , garden centres, wholesalers, etc, covering the following areas in the South of England : - West Sussex, East Sussex, Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Hampshire, Gloucestershire, Monmouthshire, Shropshire, Somerset, Staffordshire, Wiltshire, West Berkshire.
As Area Sales Manager you will be responsible for managing and developing the existing account base as well as pro-actively identifying and opening new accounts, working closely with your clients to forge strong long term relationships, presenting new designs, developing individual own label ranges, conducting range reviews and identifying growth opportunities within your accounts.
You would need to have or gain industry knowledge to target and develop new business opportunities, work closely with your clients on seasonal range reviews and offering new lines, identifying growth opportunities, negotiating profitably, ensuring strong service levels are being delivered and achieving the required sales targets for your accounts.
Successful applicants to this Area Sales Manager position will need to possess recent experience in field sales, preferably with knowledge of interior design, furniture or home accessories.
