Rhodes and Myerscough will deliver New Designers keynotes

Dame Zandra Rhodes and Morag Myerscough will be the keynote speakers at New Designers next month.

The British fashion icon will headline the ND Awards preview evening on 2 July, with the acclaimed British artist delivering the address for Week Two of the exhibition as it celebrates its 40th anniversary.

Rhodes will share insights from her trailblazing career, celebrating individuality and fearless self-expression in fashion, while Myerscough, known for her vibrant, community-focused installations, will offer a perspective on design’s ability to transform spaces and connect people through colour and pattern.

The 2025 edition brings together 2,500 design graduates from more than 100 university courses at London’s Business Design Centre, covering the following fields across two weeks: Week One (2–5 July): fashion and costume; contemporary design crafts; textiles; ceramics; glass; jewellery and metalwork; Week Two (9–12 July): furniture; product design; industrial and spatial design; graphic design; illustration and animation; motion and digital arts and game design.
