Upholstery retailer The Sofa Outlet has closed its original store as it prepares to open another.
The returns and overstock retailer closed its Rhostyllen, near Wrexham store on 21 June, four and a half years after opening as Wrexham Furniture Centre.
This was followed by a Wrexham unit in 2023.
A branch in Chester is due to open on 28 June.
It’s bittersweet but exciting news. It’s a bittersweet moment as we are sad to see our first store close as it’s where it all started for us. We feel we need to put all our efforts into our sofa outlet brand as the business continues to expand,’ says the company.
