Wren Kitchens has opened its 105th UK showroom.
The former B&M unit on the Durham City Retail Park has been transformed over a three-month period and has created 21 new jobs.
15,000sqft store has 55 kitchens on display along with two virtual reality studios where customers can explore a full-sized model of their kitchen in 3D, allowing them to walk around, interact with appliances and open and close drawers and storage solutions.
It has 16 open plan design suites where shoppers work with their designer whilst viewing both 3D and 2D images of their kitchen on a 55in screen.
‘We’re thrilled to be officially part of the Durham community, and we’ve been preparing for this special opening for several months. It’s been a real team effort and we’ve pulled together to get this showroom looking amazing ready for customers to walk through the doors and enjoy a relaxed, inspirational kitchen design experience,’ says Anthony Henderson, Wren Kitchens Durham showroom manager.
