Collingwood Batchellor saw a near £3m turnaround in profitability in the past year
The south of England retailer saw a pre-tax loss of £1.29m become a profit of £1.63m in the year to 31 January.
Sales at the seven store chain rose by £1.98m to £9.59m.
Cash increased from £2.13m to £3.65m.
Dividends rose by 46% to £342,166.
The company’s diversification policy continues. As well as expanding the self-storage facility at Gatwick, it is building flats at its Worthing store (pictured) and has outline planning permission for four storeys of flats at the Horley site.
