The Furniture Makers’ Company’s annual National Golf Day, sponsored by Bensons for Beds, raised £6,300 for the industry charity.
The event, which is the charity’s longest-running fundraiser, took place at Northamptonshire County Golf Club and saw Paul Price of Bisley crowned Best Individual, with Paul Hunnisett of The Stone Company taking the runner-up spot.
In the team competition, Blum (pictured) claimed first place, while Burbidge & Son finished as runners-up.
Companies from across the sector, including Bensons for Beds, Bisley, Blum UK, Burbidge & Son, Castelan Group, Ercol, Halstock, KI, NEJ Stevenson, Ocee & Four Design and The Stone Company, took part in the 18-hole Stableford tournament.
‘The National Golf Day continues to be a fantastic fixture in our events calendar, bringing colleagues together for a great cause. We’re incredibly thankful to our sponsors, teams and individuals who took part and helped raise over £6,300 for our charity,’ says Jessica Alexander, FMC master.
‘The Furniture Makers’ Company would like to thank all those who supported the event, particularly headline sponsor Bensons for Beds, as well as Blum, Bisley, Castelan, Ercol and The Stone Company, whose sponsorship helped ensure another successful National Golf Day.’
