Almost a third of Bensons for Beds staff have embraced the chain’s latest employee support platform, with 70% of those already using it to

start a savings fund.

Bensons has introduced workplace finance app Stream after feedback from employees, which allows them to access to a range of financial tools, including real-time earnings tracking, the ability to save directly from wages, access to a portion of earned pay before payday, benefits and discounts, pension pot consolidation and personalised financial guidance and education.

Stream is used by 2,000 companies including Asda, Bupa, Co-op, Greene King, Hilton and Next.

‘Financial wellbeing is now one of the most important ways employers can support their people. It is not just about what someone earns, but how easy it is for them to plan, manage the unexpected and feel more confident about the future,’ says Carrie Westwell, Bensons chief people and culture officer.

‘We want our reward and benefits offer to be practical, relevant and genuinely useful in colleagues’ everyday lives. Stream gives our teams more visibility and flexibility, while sitting alongside the wider package of pay, benefits, wellbeing support and development opportunities we are continuing to build.

‘Colleagues are the heart of the Bensons experience. They bring our sleep expertise to life for customers

every day, so investing in their wellbeing is fundamental to the culture we want to create and the kind of business we want to be. So far nearly a third of colleagues have already enrolled and 70% of them have already set up

a savings pot.’
