The homewares retailer has become the latest retailer to offer staff the option of working a four-day week.
A new shorter hybrid working model is being trialled across select departments with the view to expand the initiative at a later date.
It has recently been reported that Sainsbury’s is also giving some staff more flexibility, which allows them to work their 37.5 contracts in a seven-day week.
Dunelm and Sainsbury’s joins several UK retailers including Morrisons, M&S and Superdry that have moved to a four-day week as the campaign for widescale adoption gathers pace.
