Proposte: The value of relationships

The 2026 edition of Proposte placed the value of relationships at its core: a fundamental element for a sector that preserves important manufacturing traditions while simultaneously embracing the evolution of contemporary design and its applications.

More than 2,500 buyers – a rise of 5% on 2025 – visited 87 exhibitors from 14 countries at the 5-7 May show.

The top five countries by visitor origin were Italy, UK, US, Germany and France, reaffirming the high-level professional and international profile that has always characterised the exhibition.

‘We are pleased with the increase in attendance, but what truly matters to us is the quality of the connections created over the course of the three working days. Discussions with exhibitors reveal a very high level of satisfaction in this respect: an important sign that confirms the value of Proposte as a platform for relationships, business opportunities and international exchange,’ says Massimo Mosiello, Proposte director.

Among the key themes of the show was also the increasingly close dialogue between textiles, furnishings and spatial design. This vision was reflected in the collaboration with Cristina Celestino Studio for the design of the common areas, beginning with the Ala Regina, and in the contribution of leading partners including Contardi Lighting, Crema Outdoor, Meridiani, Roda and Saba.

‘One of the objectives of this edition was to further strengthen the dialogue between the textile and furnishing worlds, enhancing the connections between materials, design and hospitality. The installations and shared spaces were conceived precisely to express this vision, offering visitors an even more engaging experience aligned with the evolution of the sector,’ says Marco Parravicini, Proposte president.

Proposte 2027 will take place from 4 to 6 May.
