Mustard to donate 10% of sales to LGBTIQ charity

Storage furniture brand Mustard is to donate 10% of online sales to charity next month.

The company, founded by Becca and Jess Stern (pictured) in 2017, will launch House Proud, an influencer-lead campaign that highlights the meaning of ‘home’ to people in the LGBTIQ community around the world.

‘We are so proud to partner with Outright International for the third year running, and to continue to support the tireless work they do in protecting and advocating for the human rights of LGBTIQ communities around the world,’ says Becca Stern.

‘At Mustard, self-expression is part of our brand DNA. We’re so excited to work with our incredible creative partners on the ‘House Proud’ campaign and to share more about the impactful work Outright does.’

‘At a time when advancing equality, inclusion, and meaningful impact for LGBTIQ communities globally is as important as ever, Mustard’s partnership with Outright reflects a shared commitment to creating positive change around the world. Mustard’s dedication to aligning firmly in support of the rights of LGBTIQ people everywhere is underscored not only by its generous funding of Outright’s work but also by its intentional approach to authentically telling the stories of love and compassion that exist within our communities. It is that intentionality that makes all of us at Outright excited to continue collaborating with Mustard every single year,’ says Elise Colomer-Cheadle, Outright International director of development and corporate engagement.

The company’s support of homelessness charity Beam between 2014-2019, which saw £5 donated from every UK order, raised more than £207,000.
