Adams Carpets’ site sells for £4m

The site of Adams Carpets former factory has sold for £4m.

The manufacturer went into administration in March, and the 154,743sqft Kidderminster site was one of its main assets.

Bhandal Properties has acquired the freehold of the industrial site.

‘Industrial sites of this size, in this location, rarely come to market. We maintain an extensive list of active buyers for these types of properties and as a result, we were able to generate significant interest, resulting in competitive bidding for the site,’ says Toby O’Sullivan, director in the Birmingham office of Watling Real Estate, which sold the site along with Edwards Property Consultants on behalf of administrator Leonard Curtis.
