Beds etailer Mattress Online is to open its third physical store.
The former premises of Sheffield retailer Eades and Co will be the first Mattress Online branded store when it opens on Friday (12 August). This follows its Rotherham store which trades as The Bed Shop, and the Skipton Bed & Sofa Centre it bought earlier this year.
The company has a target of 10 branches in areas where its online sales are lower than average.
‘It is really exciting to be increasing our footprint as a business and creating new jobs locally. This omnichannel approach blends our product selection, high level of service and seamless delivery model with a personalised face-to-face service, strengthening our brand in the north of England,’ says Steve Adams, Mattress Online ceo.
‘As customer needs and behaviours change, companies need to be able to change with them and as a fast-growing tech-driven company, we are always looking to innovate and try new approaches. Our physical stores offer the best of both worlds and we’re looking forward to welcoming customers into our new premises which is just a goal-kick from Bramall Lane.’
