East Midlands-based furniture maker ANK Manufacturing have made all 26 staff members redundant after the appointment of liquidators.
Carolyn Best, partner at Begbies Traynor in the East Midlands, who were appointed as liquidators said ’ the past 12 months have been very challenging for the company, who have faced rising overheads in multiple areas, and despite efforts to increase turnover, and attempts to diversify, the situation became untenable and the business ceased trading.
