Associated Weavers is to make a major investment in its UK operation with a new distribution and cut-length centre.
The 90,000sqft site in Northampton is intended to reduced delivery times to three to five days when it opens in early 2023.
It will have three state of the art cutting lines, a tailormade sortation system, 11 loading bays and racking for almost 7,000 rolls and more than 3,000 pallets.
The company will run its carpet cut-length operation and LVT business from the site, with Verhoek handling carpets carpet deliveries and Dachser responsible for LVT.
