RAUCH
Following a challenging period Rauch has emerged with renewed strength – culminating in being voted as Best Bedroom Manufacturer by Interiors Monthly readers. The award comes at a pivotal moment for the business, as it returns to January Furniture Show in 2027 with fresh energy, a clear strategy and an exciting pipeline of innovation.
After what was undeniably a difficult year, Rauch has focused on re-aligning its offer to better meet the needs of UK retailers and consumers. That focus is already paying off. At JFS 2026, the reaction to the company’s new ranges was extremely positive, with particular attention given to the standout Taro collection. Combining contemporary styling with commercial price points, Taro perfectly reflects the direction Rauch is taking: design-led, practical and in tune with today’s customer expectations.
A key part of this renewed momentum is the appointment of James Hollas as head of UK. Bringing a strong background in furniture retail, Hollas offers a unique perspective on the market. His first-hand understanding of the retail environment – and crucially, the mindset of the end consumer – has helped shape a more targeted and relevant product strategy.
‘Having worked on the retail side for 30 years, I understand what drives purchasing decisions. It’s about offering the right product, at the right price, with the right support behind it. That’s exactly what we are focused on delivering,’ says Hollas.
Supporting this approach is a newly strengthened senior management team in Germany. The team is focused on providing ranges that offer both commercial value and strong consumer appeal. This joined-up approach between the UK operation and German manufacturing base is ensuring greater consistency, improved speed to
market and enhanced competitiveness.
‘Innovation remains central to Rauch’s strategy. We are currently finalising a series
of industry-leading developments, set to be unveiled later this year and fully
showcased at JFS 2027. With a clear direction, stronger alignment across the business, and a product offer that is resonating with the market, Rauch is well positioned for the future.
‘The recognition from Interiors Monthly readers not only acknowledges past achievements but also signals a business moving forward with confidence, clarity and ambition,’ says Hollas.
