Whitemeadow is celebrating a proud milestone after being named Best UK Furniture Manufacturer in the Interiors Monthly Awards. The accolade recognises more than three decades of British upholstery manufacturing.
For over 30 years, Whitemeadow has remained rooted in Nottinghamshire, designing and manufacturing upholstery created to balance style, comfort and commercial appeal. The family-owned business continues to champion British manufacturing, helping to preserve the skills that have shaped the UK’s upholstery industry, while evolving its collections to meet consumer tastes.
The recognition follows a positive few months for the business, which enjoyed a productive appearance at Manchester Furniture Show, where the team unveiled the latest collection and reconnected with customers. The show provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen relationships, gather feedback from customers and showcase fresh cover stories reflecting current interior trends.
The latest collection received an encouraging response, solidifying the trend research behind the latest looks. Warm, toasty browns emerged as a clear favourite, alongside grounding greens and a selection of soft, tactile fabrics that reflect the growing demand for comfort-led interiors. The collection demonstrated how trend-conscious upholstery can also deliver the practicality and versatility today’s retailers are looking for.
Being recognised by Interiors Monthly readers marks another significant achievement for the business and reflects Whitemeadow’s continued investment in British manufacturing, product development and lasting retail partnerships. ‘Receiving the Best UK Furniture Manufacturer award is something we’re incredibly proud of.
