Building awareness

‘Better sleep leads to better wellbeing’ is at the core of PureLay’s approach to mattress design. Built around the natural performance of latex, the brand offers a wellness-led alternative for consumers seeking solutions to two of the most persistent sleep challenges: overheating and inadequate back support.

PureLay has continued to build awareness within the UK bed sector as interest grows in mattresses that do more than simply provide comfort. Today’s consumers are increasingly informed about the impact of sleep quality on long-term health, energy levels and posture, and PureLay has positioned itself within this shift towards considered sleep solutions.

At the heart of the brand is the PureLay Ultimate Back-Care Collection, a three-model hybrid mattress range designed for those who prefer a firmer sleep surface. Each mattress combines the cooling and breathable
properties of PureLay Latex with natural fillings including wool, cotton, cashmere and silk. These materials work together to create a refined, temperature-regulating sleep environment while maintaining a premium look and feel.

The hybrid construction pairs latex with a firm ortho-zoned pocket spring system, designed to support correct spinal alignment, provide targeted pressure relief, and encourage airflow throughout the mattress. Zoned
support means that key areas such as the lumbar region receive additional stability, making the range particularly appealing to customers prioritising back care, without compromising comfort.

‘Customers are actively looking for mattresses that address overheating and poor support. PureLay is designed to feel supportive yet comfortable, look premium on the shop floor, and deliver a clear wellness message. By blending breathable materials with firm, orthopaedic support, the range answers a genuine consumer need,’ says Paul Lake Purecare & PureLay UK and Europe head.

PureLay also offers a range of natural latex toppers. Designed to add an extra layer of breathability and targeted comfort, they help relieve pressure points and improve spinal alignment, allowing sleepers to tailor their sleep surface more precisely. For retailers, they provide an introduction to the PureLay brand.

‘As demand continues to rise for natural, supportive and breathable sleep solutions, PureLay presents a compelling proposition. By combining thoughtful materials with functional design, we are reinforcing the idea
that better sleep is fundamental to wellbeing,’ says Lake.

PureLay will be exhibiting at Hall 5 Stand A51, offering the opportunity to experience Purelay Latex first hand.
