Fara Butt, Shire Beds director has been elected as NBF president.

The federation plays a crucial role in supporting and representing our industry, from championing high standards to ensuring the strength of our manufacturing base and supply chain. I am proud to take on this role and look forward to working with members to continue driving the industry forward,’ says Butt.
Butt, a longstanding NBF board and council member and chair of the its marketing committee, succeeds Tean Dallaway and will serve as president for two years.
The association’s AGM also saw Nick Harland-Smith, Handy, md; Tristine Hargreaves, NBF executive director and Steve Warren, Sleepeezee md re-elected to the council for a period of no more than three years.
They were joined by Danny Blackmore, Silentnight; Neil Clark, Sealy; George Joyce, Wolf Components; James Keen, Hypnos; and Neil McCarroll, L&P Springs UK, bringing the number of council members to 14.
Matt Richardson, Dreams Manufacturing continues as vice president, manufacturers, and Simon Green, CPS, as vice president, suppliers.
