Carpet and soft flooring welcomed at Flanders Flooring Days 2025

Producers count down to fourth edition

June 2025 is still far away, but producers of soft and hard flooring are already eagerly looking forward to the fourth edition of Flanders Flooring Days. The four-day event will once again be held simultaneously in showrooms and at The Hub in Kortrijk Xpo. Visitors can marvel at the latest innovations and rich traditions. Carpet is sure to steal a piece of the show during this unique trade event.

“Flanders Flooring Days is where innovation meets opportunity”, Marc Dessein, CEO of Balta, declares. “It’s not just a fair; it’s our regional platform to showcase our cutting-edge designs, sustainable practices, and commitment to quality craftsmanship and innovation worldwide. This event is an excellent tribune in forging partnerships, fostering industry connections, and staying ahead in an ever-evolving market. For Balta, it’s not just about attending; it’s about shaping the future of rugs and showing the world the capabilities of Flanders’ know-how.”

And rugs are welcomed in abundance at Flanders Flooring Days (FFD) during the upcoming edition. Buyers will find the latest innovations and sustainable techniques in soft flooring in the exhibition hall and in participating showrooms in Flanders from June 2 to 5, 2025. Associated Weavers is also proud to be part of Flanders’ textile heritage. Managing Director Sebastiaan Deboodt: “We are enthusiastic to support the industry and be part of its leadership.”

Flemish hospitality, European producers

Over the past editions Flanders Flooring Days has been building a strong synergy between the showrooms in different locations in Flanders and the Belgian and European participants in ‘The Hub’ in Kortrijk Xpo. By joining forces, visitors discover different manufacturers of soft and hard floors and derived products. With an intensive, international recruitment campaign, the event today reaches retail customers, wholesalers and prescribers worldwide. No less than 88 percent of visitors to the trade event are also decision-makers. This is confirmed by Luc Claeys, CEO of Osta: “Our participation in Flanders Flooring Days provided us with valuable new customers and the quality of the contacts was excellent.”

“During our participation in Flanders Flooring Days, we seized the opportunity to amaze and impress the decision-makers. This directly resulted in securing new orders, showcasing our ability to delight and surprise our clients”, James Neuling, CEO of Belysse, confirms. In order to welcome those contacts efficiently, Flanders Flooring Days will again be working with an appointment module for its fourth edition. This allows sales departments to book appointments even before the event takes place.

An event not to be missed

Frederic Steen, Business Unit Director Flooring at Decospan, is pleased to once again participate in the event. “Flanders Flooring Days is rapidly becoming a cornerstone for building industry connections and showcasing innovation. Our continued involvement underscores our commitment to engaging with the industry community and advancing our shared goals.”
