Castelan joins TFMC

Castelan Group has become the latest company to join The Furniture Makers’ Company as a corporate member.

The care product and service company will be formally welcomed as a corporate member in October, when Ian Annand, Castelan chairman; Martin Napper, Castelan coe and Stuart Armstrong, Castelan finance director will be admitted as corporate liverymen and personally welcomed by the Master of The Furniture Makers’ Company during an admission ceremony.

Corporate membership provides opportunities for leading businesses from the trade to support the TFMC’s charitable activities, get involved with civic events and network with other members.

‘Castelan Group are delighted to be admitted as a corporate member of The Furniture Makers’ Company. While not a manufacturer or retailer of furniture, we have long been part of the furniture industry providing insured warranty schemes and repair and care services. Being members is a great fit for us as we have enormous experience, and data, around product performance and quality and so feel we can contribute in those areas,’ says Napper.

‘We have also been keen to support a charity for the industry within which we operate and look forward to getting involved in the various events and raising awareness amongst our own colleagues.’

‘We are delighted to welcome Castelan Group as a corporate member and are looking forward to admitting Ian, Martin and Stuart as corporate liverymen. Our corporate members are of the greatest importance to us. We are delighted that so many different companies from the wider furnishing industry understand the importance of joining as members and supporting our charitable endeavours,’ says Tony Attard, Master of The Furniture Makers’ Company.
