Tim Cater, Alternative Flooring purchasing and operation director is to step down from the company after 18 years.
He will leave as a director at the end of September but will work with Alternative as a consultant on specialist projects.
‘I have hugely enjoyed my time at Alternative and will always have positive memories of colleagues, customers and suppliers that I have worked with during the last 18 years. Alternative is a great brand with great people, and now under the Ulster ownership, has increasing opportunities within the company and worldwide,’ he says.
‘We thank Tim for his unwavering enthusiasm and knowledge for textile floorcoverings, which is very much in his DNA, as his late father, John Cater, was sales director for Lawton Yarns for more than 30 years. Innovation has been intrinsic to Tim’s approach, which has been so very instrumental in the company’s success. All of the Alternative team would like to wish Tim continued success in everything he is planning to do,’ says David Acheson, Alternative director.
