CIFF rescheduled

The China International Furniture Fair (CIFF) has been pushed back because of the pandemic.

The 48th edition of the Shanghai show had been scheduled to take place from 25-28 September, but has now been scheduled for 11-14 December.

‘Based on the overall situation of pandemic prevention and control, after fully listening to the opinions of all parties, it is prudently decided that the 48th CIFF Shanghai, will be postponed. The venue remains unchanged and is still the National Exhibition & Convention Center (Shanghai),’ says organisers.

‘Thanks to the strong support of relevant authorities and industry colleagues, we are confident that we will spare no effort to provide a safe, healthy and orderly exhibition environment for all participants.’

The move comes a month after the show was moved from early September to the late September dates and a spokesman for the organiser said the show would not be rescheduled for a second time.

The proposed September edition of Furniture China and Maison Shangai was also pushed back last month, now running from 28-31 December.
