It starts with the core – the unique, 100% waterproof, temperature-resistant, super-stable, sound-absorbing core. Unlike SPC, click LVT and rigid vinyl, COREtec uses a composite core that is extruded and conditioned separately to enhance performance, feel and stability.
The core incorporates the incredibly strong and versatile locking system and is backed with sustainable cork underlay. Cork is the ultimate hard-flooring underlay, with great acoustics, underfloor ‘grip’, unique compression characteristics and a natural feel and is 100% sustainable.
Cork is a naturally occurring material that can be harvested without damaging the tree, which regenerates over time. Every COREtec floor has a lifetime domestic warranty; a 10-year commercial warranty; R10 slip resistance and an incredible natural appearance. COREtec uses high-definition imaging, realistic embossing and super-matt glossing for a look that’s hard to separate from the real thing.
