Dunelm turns to locked display cases to protect bed linen

Dunelm has begun locking up its more expensive bed linen.

The move has discovered after the chain’s Keighley branch posted a video of its revamped Dorma bedlinen displays on social media.

The video clearly shows that linen is now displayed in glass-fronted display cases which can only be opened by a member of staff using a keypad.

This is despite some of the linen already having security tags attached.

A still from the video shows items from £25 locked in the display cases.

Dunelm has been approached for comment.
