EDITOR’S CHOICE: PRODUCT OF THE YEAR (FLOORING)

WOODURA PLANK COLLECTION – BJELIN

Bejlin8261

Woodura is Bjelin’s patented technology for strengthening real wood at a molecular level. The result is flooring that offers three times the durability of traditional wood, uses 10 times fewer resources to produce and can withstand up to 72 hours of exposure to water using 5G Dry click technology, making it a practical option for kitchens, hallways and other high traffic areas of the home that have traditionally been off limits for genuine wood floors.

Bjelin UK will be showcasing its full range of Woodura flooring – and the new furniture – at The Flooring Show in Harrogate in September, with a stand designed around real wood that has been engineered to cope with the demands of everyday family life.

Visitors to the stand will be able to see Woodura Planks across eight colourways, from soft naturals through to deeper Earth Grey and Terra Brown tones, alongside the Select graded Woodura Herringbone Modern and Classic ranges.

New for 2026 is the UK debut of Woodura Furniture, a collection of dining and coffee tables that brings the same hardened wood technology from the floor into the room. The range comes in two design directions: Harmony, a sleek modern vintage style, and Solace, built around a more pared-back, minimalist feel.

Each piece combines a Woodura tabletop with a solid oak base and is designed for quick and straightforward assembly at home.

‘We’re really pleased to be exhibiting at Harrogate this year. It’s a fantastic platform to showcase our herringbone and the next generation of Woodura hardened wood flooring, and hopefully to start introducing furniture into the interiors conversation too,’ says Simon Darbyshire, Bjelin UK md.

The show will also give retailers an in-person look at Bjelin’s updated POS package, created to help independent retailers bring the Woodura story to life for homeowners in-store, from the technology behind the wood to the finished look of a room.

Sustainability sits behind every part of the range. All timber is FSC certified and the flooring carries the Nordic Swan Ecolabel, while the new furniture is built from European oak sourced from the sustainably managed Spačva forest. The underlying Woodura technology was developed with sister company Välinge Innovation, the original inventor of the floating floor click system, reflecting a long history of genuine innovation in real wood.

Bjelin’s stand at Harrogate – Hall Q, Stand Q86 – will offer a chance to see how far the material has come, from the floor underfoot to the furniture in the room above it.
