Mattress brand Emma has seen a record quarterly performance and is forecasting full-year sales of more than £700m.
Sales in the past quarter rose by 44% to €211m (£185m).
Sales for the three-quarters reached €595m (£522m), a rise of 36%.
It expects sales for the full-year to top €800m (£700m).
‘The third quarter was even better than we expected — our best ever — and the full year revenue forecast is extremely encouraging. Despite the challenging economic climate, where volume in our sector has fallen by around 30% and high-profile brands have filed for bankruptcy, we continue to counter-cycle, break records, expand our portfolio, and refine our business model,’ says Dennis Schmoltzi, Emma — The Sleep Company ceo and co-founder.
