Former Moroso ceo Damir Eškerica will be the next boss at kitchen brand Valcucine.
Eškerica’s departure from the furniture company after seven years as ceo and six running Moroso UK was announced last week.
Eškerica will succeed Maurizio Vianello in September, who Lauro Buoro, chairman of Valcucine parent BeNice Holding thanked for rebuilding financially.
‘A new chapter begins for Valcucine today, one focused on accelerating commercial development and strengthening the brand’s positioning in the upper tiers of international design. This new phase is possible thanks to the path paved under the leadership of current Maurizio, who restored the company’s financial balance, enhanced brand reputation and rebuilt strategic relationships both in Italy and abroad. I thank Maurizio for the work he has done so far and I extend a warm welcome and best wishes to Damir as he takes on this new challenge,’ he says.
‘At this important time of change for the company, I am proud to have contributed to Valcucine’s relaunch,’ says Vianello. ‘I would like to thank Lauro, Mario Petracco, all our collaborators, agents, clients and suppliers for the trust and support shown over the years. I offer Damir my sincerest best wishes and full support during this transition period.’
‘I am grateful to Moroso for everything I have learned and built over the years,’ says Eškerica. ‘Today I am deeply motivated and determined to elevate Valcucine even further, together with my colleagues, reinforcing its position as an international benchmark for design, innovation and quality.’
