Rug retailer FLOOR_STORY has again collaborated with humanitarian charity Choose Love for its latest collection.
The Dins Dins collection of three flatwoven rugs takes a creative twist on dining, with a chequerboard pattern inspired by the aesthetic of picnic rugs and tablecloths. Din Din is intended to symbolise coming together and sharing food with those that we love. The colour palette sees a combination of fresh oranges, pinks, and light purples – chosen to be summery and eye-catching. The bold palette is in keeping with FLOOR_STORY’s vibrant wider collection and supported by a customisation service, where any rug can be specified in a broad spectrum of colour options.
Din Dins is the second collaboration between FLOOR_STORY and Choose Love: creative collaborations from the organisation aim to spread the word and increase its profile, often with vivid iconography and slogans while raising funds for its on the ground work.

Choose Love aims to raise the voice and the visibility of refugees and galvanise public support to refugees along migration routes globally. It was launched in 2015 when a group of friends began collecting donations for refugees in Calais. It has gone on to be a global organisation, supporting refugees and displaced people all over the world. Six years ago, Choose Love opened the first Choose Love shop, a shop like no other where shoppers can buy real items and life-saving interventions which will go to refugees and displaced people all over the world. Supporters include Harry Styles, Michael Cain, Dua Lipa and Jameela Jamil.
‘We are hugely supportive of Choose Love, including “Buy the Shop” at the Choose Love annual pop-up store, but decided to take things up a notch with a collaboration to produce the slogan rugs, and now the brilliant Din Dins series.
