The value of the global flooring market will grow by almost 6% a year in the coming years, according to new research.
US research company Artizon has forecast that the sector will see growth of 5.77% until 2028.
This will see the market grow from £311.3bn to £435.9bn
The company says the sector will continue to see consumers switch to LVT.
It also forecasts that the carpet sector will see growth from £71.2bn in 2022 to £95.5bn in 2028, with an annual growth rate of 5.74%.
It says residential sales will make up 47% of sales.
