Flooring accessory and acoustic manufacturer FN Neuhofer has celebrated its 375th anniversary.
The Austrian company marked the event with a gala dinner for 300 members of staff, customers, three generations of the Neuhofer family and friends.
Franz Neuhofer Snr and his wife Christiana were awarded the highest honour of the local Zell am Moos municipality: honorary citizenship.
‘As a successful moulding manufacturer and traditional woodworking company, Neuhofer Holz is an important partner and employer for our entire region. We are proud to have such a company,’ says Mayor Günther Pfarl, who presented the award to Franz Neuhofer Snr together with municipal councillors. ‘I could never have done it without my wife. And my employees have always been the most important thing to me,’ replied Neuhofer Snr.
As well as the corporate anniversary, the diner also celebrated Neuhofer Snr’s 85 th birthday.
