Fuorisalone: True Over Time with Poltrona Frau

Poltrona Frau bestowed the title True Over Time on its 2026 collection, highlighting design capable of preserving and conveying meaning over the years.

‘With the 2026 collection, we want to emphasise the importance of authenticity. A philosophy that has guided every design and production decision at Poltrona Frau since 1912. We believe that design should endure, maintaining its essence. In an age dominated by immediacy, choosing something that lasts is an act of awareness. Our furniture is designed to endure, to convey thought and story, while adapting to the changes of spaces and the lives of those who choose it. True Over Time expresses a very contemporary idea of luxury, defined by considered choices, essential elegance, and inner coherence. A way of being and creating that, like time itself, reveals the truth of things,’ says Nicola Coropulis, Poltrona Frau ceo.

Its showroom saw introduction in upholstery, lighting, dining, accessories, home office, and bedroom.

Jean-Marie Massaud’s Archibald reinterpreted his original concept with larger volumes and modularity designed to adapt to contemporary living. Generous seating interacts with a monobloc backrest; taut surfaces contrast with rounded volumes and welcoming upholstery. Stitching defines the product while maintaining the recognisable signature of the design, proving how a strong identity can evolve while staying true to itself.
