Bedkingdom626

Bedkingdon and Cuckooland parent Flair Furniture has seen sales growth accelerate after leaping past £30m last year.

The group saw sales leap by 22% to £34.3m in the year to the end of February with operating profits 461% higher at £1.2m, returning to 2024/2025’s level.

Since then, turnover growth has accelerated to 31%

in Q1 2026, the company says.

Ashley Hainsworth, Flair Furniture Group md and founder says investment, including two warehouses in the past 18 months, has him eyeing overseas expansion for the Bedkingdom brand.

‘I never imagined the business I started as an experimental university project more than ten years ago would turn into one of the UK’s fastest-growing companies. Myself and the team have worked incredibly hard to get here, continuously improving and investing in our people, product range, customer experience and technology,’ he says.

‘We are incredibly grateful to our customers for shopping with us time and time again, and will make

sure we continue to provide great products and

customer service as we build towards international expansion. Our first stop in terms of expansion is Ireland.’

The company has grown to 49 employees on the back of the growth, which has seen it widen its product offer – into dining and outdoor.

Hainsworth says the mix will see further expansion in the coming months.
